I was thinking about starting a fantasy football league for everybody on AR \

well.... sportsline offers a league you can join for 30 dollars and they will pay you.... I'm not sure if I will have to pay extra to run it or not? Sometimes you have to pay a lot to run a league.

If that is the case, we could all join a free league at yahoo or sportsline and everybody could send the money to my paypal account... i'm trustworthy.

We could give maybe the top 3 places a money reward.... say if each of us pay 30 dollars and we have 8 people thats a total of 240. We'll give first place 160... second place 50... and third place will get their money back with 30.

According to our by-laws the winner from last season has to foot the cash for this season so I'll be getting it together very soon and will let you know. I'll post up a thread on it so all those who want to play (or as I like to say, lose to me. hahah) can let me know and get signed up.

EC............Big Green, MBH, Thechosenone, ripsid, Ron and myself along with a bunch others did this last year. Had I not been a bad boy and Cycleon hadn't changed my title and name as punishment you'd have read that my title is AR Fantasy football Champion for last year. We used ESPN last year and Big Green set up the whole thing....it was a blast and we've all agreeded to do it again. Maybe we can get a bigger crowd this year.

To fill in those who are wondering how to get into the official league (and yes I'm going to respond asap to all the PMs I've received) and its sorta history, here ya are:

A number of us went with an official AR fantasy football league last year, were able to secure our own forum from PTbyJ in addition to AR.com 'endorsement' of sorts and had one hell of a time doing it. We had a league homepage complete with some killer graphics if i do say so myself (lol) and weekly updates, in addition to 'the allsportsnutrition team of the week' and other various awards. In short, it was very well done and well participated in, save for those coming into the league without strong AR roots, so to speak. The six or seven of us most involved were, not by coincidence in my opinion, also those with the longest tenure at AR. As such, it's very tough for us to extend an invite to those without a long tenure here (though I assume we're all willing to hear arguments). Make no mistake...this is THE league. Those of involved were hardcore with our stat tracking and involvement (oh, and we draft live...none of that other BS) and it showed.

As of now, I imagine the core of six or seven who saw it through completely from start to finish will be back...that includes:

Juggernaut (the defending champ)
Money Boss Hustla
Ron
TheChosenOne
Sigrabbit
Ripsid

Adams I know for a fact wouldn't bail, and there's a few on this thread who have already PM'ed me who seem to have a commitment to the board and wouldn't bail either...so it looks like we could feasibly get 12 'see-it-through' bros who could make this thing really work. I'm gonna reconvene with juggy (with me as last year's commish and he as the champ, we have to come to the participants with a proposal for site and rules, etc, etc) and then we'll hopefully present you all with an option that you can then reject or accept as to how we're gonna run it this time.

Big Green, my home PC is down so I'll be on-line from 7:30 AM till 6:00 PM during the week until I have it repaired...freaking ligthning. Also I'll be out of pocket so to speak tomorrow until next tuesday....heading to Baltimore for the company and will hop on-line when I can while there.

Just to let you guys know how I feel about it......Big Green IS the commish. I don't think there is another bro on the board who could/would do a better job. Also ChrisAdams is in....Big Green says he's good is all I need to hear.
