    Soap

My soap seems to dry my skin out, i was wondering if theres a good soap that would help moisturize my skin and take off some of the dead skin (ive seen teh dove exfoliating bar, but am afraid it smells too womanly for my usage).. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Dove or Johnsons baby wash are pretty mild, use a loofa sponge to exfoliate.

For the body i use Dial anti-bacterial liquid wash, for your face use Biore cleansing scrub, i costs abour 3-4 bucks and last more athan 2months. I've been using the Biore scrub for over 4 years now and i never got one pimple/zit or any dryness, i have a firend who refuses to believe and has spent over 1500dollars over the past 3 years on miracle systems, proactives and Murad and many others oTC for skin porblems and he didnt get rid of one problem!

Whats pretty cheap and works well for me is simply the Irish Spring Aloe. They come in a green and white box.

same problem. i use oil of olay, the facial bar, in the shower. It's a little more expensive, but anyone who touches your skin will compliment how soft it is.

I had the same problem. I switched to lever 2000 and all was well. The antibacterial soaps dried me out too...

    bump to 1victor....
get some form of liquid soap and use a loofa. I felt a little gay using one at first, but once you switch, you'll never go back. You'll never drop the soap again, and it also scrubs away dead skin.

Go to a flea market or someplace where crafts-type folks go to sell their home made stuff (maybe eBay?), and buy some home made soap.
The thing about genuine soap vs factory made is the factory made stuff uses a process that eliminates glycerine, home made soap retains it, and glycerine acts as a humectant (something that attracts water out of the air and onto your skin, keeping it moist).
