How would I go about hacking into other peoples systems from home ? Dunno where to start really, but its so I can access my brothers system and play a joke on him

easiest way is if he dosent know anything about computers, make sure his anti virus is disabled and send him a trojan horse

It's not hacking, but if you're legit about what you wanna do and have the access to his computer, then you're good to go.

And just a word to the wise...

Be careful downloading any hacking programs from the Net. Most of the time they're Trojan's and since your IP is already logged, congrats, you're now infected and accessible.

They may not be able to access your private files as easy (Directory structure for personal items are unique with each computer) BUT your main files (windows directory, autoexec.bat, config.sys, command.com, etc...) and drivers are all very easy accessible.

Bottom line, don't do it.

my friend hacking/cracking is not simple like u r thinking first u should have some background knowledge about networking,programming,ftp,telnet...I have a bs in computer science and til now i have hard time cracking a vb crackme type program it need a lot of work and dedication and u have to put it first in your interests instead of bodybuilding wich i doubt u can.
but if u want and easy way to remotly enter a pc i will just give u the algorthim and u have to work on details ,code or get a simple programs that will retreive the ip of your victim and open the ftp port of your victim for public use then inject this program into a png picture upload it and give him the link when he open it , the program will run and it will send u the ip to your pc plus it will open the ftp port ,then connect to his pc through an ftp client and u will have total control over his pc u can delete files view files format his pc upload and install programs on his pc without his knowledge.

The PNG vulnerability is so old that it wouldn't work if the user has IE updated with SP1. I doubt you could use this exploit on many machines.

belive me many windows users are still vulnerable all over the world from six month me and my friend made 510 pc as an open proxy with the spread o af a png pic and i am still surfing and using the irc through their ip i am surprised that they even spend 6 months without cleaning or formating the pc oh u can also use them as a bots army for a ddos attack.
