How many grams of dex are in a "protein" scoop?

Alright I have pure dextrose but have no idea how much of it im putting in my post workout shake....

I'm using the scooop out of my optimum whey protein, and I was wondering how much dex, in grams, I fit into one of those about?

I have no idea- but 1/2 cup equals 80 grams!! Fill up 1/2 of cup and pour in cup to see.

1/2 cup is 75 grams of carbs. It's been posted here about 123494 times by me alone, so try a search.

Really though, measure it by the 1/2 cup, screw the protein scoops.

ive seen this question a lot..but it makes me wonder how many people dont have food scales? I measure just about everything i use on a digital food scale. I just assumed most people focused on diet did this.

A Standard Protein Scoop is equivalent to a 1/3 cup
A Standard Protein Scoop holds 50g of Dextrose

    What is "standard" by definition?

I ask because a scoop from Optimum differs greatly from that of Designer protein. Many companies utilize different scoop sizes.

Yeah, I know what you are saying.

This is mainly the 28.4g scooper provided by ON. I've tried 5 different protein brands and they each measured out the same, so its my opinion that its standard
