10-20mgs is, I believe, a good dosage to start with.

well the derm told me bc of my weight i should be @ 80 mg's a day, seems like alot tho..?

they are 20mg caps.

Thats with the intent to _permanently_ close the oil glands in your skin. If you just want to stop/prevent acne, I would theorize that you can get away with 10-20mg ED.

Closing the glands can be done high dose short time or low dose long time. I did 40mg a week. Took a little longer (not much) and i had only one side effect.......a little sun sensitivity.....and thats it. And believe me.....i had worse acne than all of you........i had cystic acne.

the official dosing guidelines are 0.5 to 1.0 mg/kg/day

ive taken it when i was young. i beleive the normal dosages range from 10-80mgs day. i would prolly suggest taking 20-40mgs day. anything higher then that you will prolly be in pain froom being so dryed out. i was thinking about running 20mgs/day for 6 months myself.
