    what am i doing wrong

    Hi I had a few questions I don't know if I just lost my willpower or what but I'v been working out for like 15 years off and on hittn it pretty hard for the last 4-5 years. I'm up to 285 pounds around 19 or 20 % bf. I'm real strong but I can't seem to get rid of the extra fat. During the week my typical diet is 7 egg whites, turkey sandwich on wheat, couple chicken breasts, and a few protein shakes in the mix 50grams each. I tend to go to the gym 4 days a week, I don't do as much cardio as I should and eat kinda crappy on the weekend. Could those 3 days make that much of a difference?

    check the cutting stickys at the top of the forum...use those as a primer to base your own diet...post what you came up with then we will be able to give you a lot better feedback

    Welcome to AR. You will find lots of great advice on all aspects of bodybyuilding and more besides! I think you answered your own question, "I don't do enough cardio" and "I eat crappy at the weekend". Yes those three days make a difference. If your serious about looking lean then you'll have to work at these.

    thanks for the feedback, I had it once a bit I was at like 10%bf at 235lbs 3 years ago. Then I did 5 cycles over the past 3 years of deca/test I put on like 30 lbs of good weight then I had a bad motorcycle accident put on a little extra weight and kinda lost my motivation because of it. But I feel it coming back now. again thanks for the feedback

    Perfectbeast is a monitor! Nice. I take a few days off to refinish my house and look at all these changes.
    Those 3 days could definetly make a difference because that is almost HALF of your whole week. If you wanna burn off that fat I'd adjust our cutting sticky to your goals and follow by it with the extra cardio that you say you are lacking in.

    1 full day of me not watching my diet is detrimental to my body.
