What worked best for me was 25 mcg in the morning, on an empty stomach, all in single dose.

25mcg is tough because that usually what a pill is dosed at and with liquids its a pain to get out any less that. I took 25mcg in the morning and never had any problems. when you put it up to 50mcg split the doses am/pm

Pills are easy to break in half and if you're dealing with ug liquids you can use a 1 ml syringe to measure it a little more accurately.
As far as splitting, it's not going to hurt anyone by taking the dose all at once but you'll recieve a greater benefit by splitting due to it's short half life.
