best workout & gym trax for my ipod?

... I need new music: mostly for running but also for a full gym workout... I need some suggestions as I'm tired of listening to the same old stuff. I tend to buy stuff on itunes, not really wanting to mess my computer with the pirate programs.......

I'll have this moved to the lounge, as it really has nothing to do with the Boxing/Fighting/Wrestling section you posted it under.

Yeah if you're into Dance Music (House, Trance, Techno, etc.) then that's definitely a good route to go. When you buy compilation mixes it's over an hour long of non-stop music to keep you going. AS opposed to listening to 5 minute tracks with a break between each song, then waiting for a song to pick up, and then at the end of the song it mellows out towards the end, and repeat....

Check out Jonathan Peters, he's got some good stuff:

i thought i was the only one that knew about parkway drive, those guys play some heavy shit.

the gym i frequent mostly plays rap... which i'm appalled by. rap music is terrible. so basically anything metal, rock, etc. gets me goin' in the gym.
    but i like
marylin manson (before all this glam crap...), manmade god, depswa, slipknot (of course), The Mars Volta, the new avenged sevenfold album, vampire mooose, byzantine, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, in flames, let the guilty hang.

I'll listen to some fast country when doing cardio, Toby Keith, Hank Jr, ect. Alot of country is way too slow for working out but it's my favorite music any other time

Doesn't seem a bit odd that this member joined, posted this one question then logged out, and hasn't logged back in?

I guess it's not that odd. Maybe I'll join the itunes board and ask a steroid question for my first post.

    if you're using itunes....

yeah I agree, it's just a lot easier to download from itunes then mess around with other stuff.....

If you're looking for workout/gym music on itunes, I highly recommend you start here:

    http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/M...Club+Hits+Vol+

....... if that link doesn't work, u could try this one http://tinyurl.com/2z96uw ......

or try seaching itunes for "euro club hits" -- it's the one with the logo and the different colors in back .... cheers
