Ya, I'm still trying to come up with a good post and pre workout food. I'm going to try protien powder, oatmeal, and splenda for a pre workout shake. A couple of knowledgable bro's ( kizer_soce, and outshined ) use this mixture.

I was thinking of having some Pro-Lab N-Large, with milk, and a banana for post workout. Any thoughts?

well, i usually have a normal meal pre workout - meaning complex carbs or a lot of veggies, with protein, eg. oatmeal and tuna, or brown rice and steak. hit the gym about 1.5 hours later. postworkout = shake with honey and whey protein. 1 hour later complex carbs + protein, like preworkout meal

N-large is good, or even cheaper just buy bulk dextrose and 2 protien scoops of it is about 80g of carbs, great in post workout shake w/ whey.

I usually take 150g potatoes with 150 g chicken, 1 hour prior to my training; and immediatly after my w/o I take a shake which consists of 50-60g whey,5 g creatine and fruit juice+water or simply dextrose...
