This is for cutting. Im just wondering what you guys do, how long do you wait after consuming your pre work out meal to go to the gym and lift?
Also what is your pre and post work out meal when cutting?

i give it a little short of 1.5 hours for a few reason. when your body digests you can become tired because its exercise for the body. also, when doing fat burning cardio after resitance training, the calories should be burned throughout the workout leaving me in an effective depleted muscle glycogen state, and perfect time for fat burning cardio. and my 1st pwo nutrition shake usually falls withint 3 hours so its spaced out perfect for me. then 1-1.5 hours (by the time the whey has processed through my body), i will refeed with 1 cup brown rice and 4 oz. grilled london broil. then space out meals thereafter every 3 hours

About an hour before. When cutting, I'll eat some turkey on whole wheat bread beforehand. Afterwards, I like egg whites and oats. Then about 2 hours after that I'll eat again.
I usually wait 1.5 to 2, if i wait 2 hours i need to take something like superpump250 or noshotgun bc my workouts are little hurting if i dont do it. Im still trying to find a perfect pre work out meal...turkey on wheat bread doesnt sound bad though
only thing with turkey is it can be a natural antibiotic to make you tired... i usually have some fibrous carbs like broccoli with 2 slices 12 grain toast and grilled chicken.. something to carb load a bit
I like to do a chicken breast, whole wheat pasta and broccoli.
It really doesn't matter what your meal choice is, just get some carbs, pro and little fat.
I like to work out like this. 1.5 hours after eating if it's something that digest slowly. If I have a whey shake w/ a banana or something, i'll go within 30 minutes but real food, no less then 1.5 hours.
I wait an hour. Longer than that and I get hungry mid work out. Less than that and I feel full and sluggish.
30-45 min tops
when i was cutting i made sure to give atleast 2 hours after last meal before the gym and when i was doing cardio after lifting i always waited 45 minutes after I GOT HOME before i ate. after cardio your body is burning calories so i give it time to burn more before putting calories back in my body
