Don't skimp on healthy carbs.
Eat a good amount of carbs about and hour and a half before working out. You feel great in the gym and they start to digest and be used for energy. Take some eca 45min before u work out, that will also give u soe stregth.
What are your goals ?
Powerlifting? or BBing?
This would be a start of where to direct you with your diet !

MarkyMark is right! When I was powerlifting I had more energy and strength when I didn't eat quite so clean, I ate alot of burgers and pizza and such, now I eat really clean and depend on the carbs for energy. So what are your goals?
i think pasta is excellent for energy and if you dont put too much sauce and shit on it you wont get fat either

eca is a fat burner.....stands for ephedrine, caffene, aspirin. it helps raise metabolism, and body temp.
my goals as of right now are the following
-more strenght/energy
-Bigger chest
-abs
I wouldnt mind having some more mass maybe 10 pounds would be real nice but i rather have more definition and cuts cause the summer is around the corner and i really want to be able to be barechested on the beach with a nice tan :-)
If those are it eat clean and keep it as such, high protein, high to moderate carbs, low fat. Chicken, tuna, fish, lean red meat, eggs, rice, potatoes, yams, veggies, etc.
