Just couriuos. What was the oldest expired injectable that anyone has ever used here and were there any bad side affects. Ive read so many post on expired stuff. When is expired really mean dont use it ? Is it 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 years. I would love you here your feedback on this because it seem like very one is on a differant page when it come to an expiration date.

A couple years shoudlnt hurt much. Likely the only problem would be slightly lowered potency. Why do you ask?

The reason I ask is because if you read any of the post refering to expired products overyone has a differant opinion. It like no one really has the correct answer, its just each pesons opinion. I thought t would be an interesting post to start up also.

There is really no solid answer as you stated.. The Correct answer is do not use it even 1 day after the expiration date. That is why they have Exp dates. The company feels from that date on the product is questionable and might lose it potetncy after that! That is why no one has the same answer there is not one! Just like some people will use milk as long as it does not smell fowl and others dump it on the date of Exp. Same theory!! It is all up to the end user... Myself, if i found some old gear.. I would say exactly 1 year to the date it expired and anything after that i would not use. This is just me and my standards though! i am sure there are people that have easily gone 5 yrs out! I knwo that there are poeple that steal the exp. gear from the place that picks it up from the pharmacies and that is how they get it!

The experation date means the potency is guranteed untill that date,it is still good it just might not be as potent.

Milk is a bad example. Milk spoils very close to its expiration day and will make you sick. I've never heard of anyone getting sick on expired gear. Have you?

No I have not but the example is fine! Expiration dates on all products are there because the FDA makes the companies put them there! Whether it is milk, bread, aspirin or testosterone! You are asking a question that I said, clearly has no correct answer excep for what the user wants to believe! If you want to use gear that expird 3,4,5 yers ago.. be my guest! Myself as I said I will only use something that is 1yr past its date!

Well 131 people looked at this post and not 1 person said they got sick or got any type of infection from expired gear. Thats amazing.

Use the search button and search for the word "expire" in the thread title. You'll get all kinds of hits.
I don't know how long it would take the alcohol in the oil to breakdown so you'd get an infection, but I bet it's about 10 years after the expiration date.
Even then, everything in the vial was sterile when packaged, so I don't know how it would get contaminated?

I have used the search on expired. But most of them are asking about gear that is a few months to a year past exp. And no one mention anything about infections or about possibly getting sick.
But just so everyone understands this was just a my own curiousity. I'm not looking to use 5 or 10 year expired gear. I just havent seen anyone else touch the subjuct on gear that old.

Last time I checked this was a forum made so people could ask questions. So if you don't have anything helpful to say that has to do with the question in hand then go and find someone elses thread to bully someone on.
Or maybe next time I will run the question by you to make sure its ok to ask it.

you are right it is a forum to ask questions but how many times are you going to ask the same question in this thread? you obviously have some gear that is expired and want to run it and are looking for enough answers to make you feel comfortable about doing so! I have been on this board for a few years and whenevr someone asks a question like this and then tries to say thaey are just "wondering" that almost always means they are actually looking for the answer for themselves! The smartest thing you could do is just call and ask a pharmacist. they went to school for this stuff. ask them how long after the date would a bottle or inj be good for He will answer you he is not going to report you!

Hey Inspector Clouseau... You dont know me so don't assume what my reasons are for asking a question. If I had some old gear I would have said " I have some old gear". If you didn't like my question then you should have just passed it up with no comment. The only stupid question is the one not asked. So if you see anymore of my threads please dont even read them. Also I would like to note alot of UGL's use very short intervals for their exipiry dates compared to human grade gear......maybe they are just trying to get you to purchase more gear!

I have been part of a discussion on this topic on another board. Someone had found a study that showed efficacy of an injectible was not reduced after a very long time on a shelf. I think it was an army study and the products were over 20 years old. They had found some old batches and tested them. Not steriods of course.
The pharmicies put expirations for liability and to sell drugs. I made some stuff in 2006 and still use it looks and works just fine. I think you should probably Google this to satisfy your curiosity. Might find better answers on there. I don't think there are many users on here that store gear or have old gear for that matter.

ive had some gear tested that was stored propely,,5 years past expire,,,and it was still 100% lablel claim strength.

Just used test P about a year and half expired... worked great no problems.. hope it helps.

The way I see it is people use fake gear all the time. So using real gear that's expired shouldn't be a huge problem. Just prob not as potent. Just an opinion, don't know fo sho.
