how long is the journey of food through the digestive tract?

Im not sure where this post should have went.
So how long does it take for food to go in and come out. I read it takes 24-36hrs, but I have noticed that it takes me 9-10hrs. Now does this mean i have a super fast metabolism or is something wrong with my small intestine? I do have ulerative colitis, but the disease is quiet.

24-36 hours, yes. Although some foods are digested faster than others, meat for example takes a little longer.

Liquids, faster.

Eat some sweetcorn and see when it next comes out.
