Glutes, shoulders, quads get me 6 days and then I'll throw in a tri or bi. I've hit the tris on both the teardrop head and the back side of it as well (I prefer the teardrop). Bi's are probably me least favorite, but still hit them every once in a while.
If yours hurts really bad, try cutting it with some oil or better yet some EO. Might not make it painless, but it should help out a great deal. If this is the first time you've used prop, just give it some time as mine started feeling a little better the more I kept hitting the same muscle. Glutes and shoulders are pretty painless for me. Quads still get sore and my bi's and tris still get real sore.
