Solodyn (Acne Medicine) causing BLOAT

any of you guys try solodyn for cystic acne? ive been on it for about 6 weeks now and im bloated as hell. didn't expect this much water at all lol. when i started it i saw that some ppl put on weight/water but not everyone. looks like im 1 of the unfortunate ppl.

those who have tried this, did u put on weight with the same diet prior to starting solodyn? did u notice a lot of bloat? im hoping to get accutane but i just heard it is getting pulled?

i used solodyn for about 6 months and it works great and yes you will get a little bloat...seemed to me it even gave me a big appetite..takes awhile to see results to.good luck!

grapejuice, thanks for the reply bud! let me ask u a question, since i started this 6 weeks ago (115mg/ed), i have ALWAYS felt bloated and full like i just ate a huge meal. my stomach is always "popping out" i guess u could say. i hate this damn feeling! just feels like i washed down a huge meal with 5 glasses of water. even when i have just a damn nutrigain bar lol

but hell, if i get my skin all cleared up it will be worth it. how much did u run ED by the way?

max dose i cant quite remember how much 135mg i believe, i suffered from back acne before i even took aas but the key to solodyn is to take it like right when you wake up so it absorbes good. Also how much are you paying for it? as far as the bloat i feel your pain im a bulky build so whenever i eat or nething i feel like i have a huge gut.

yeah i take it first thing in the morning. good point bro. yeah im a bulky guy also, but never felt anywhere close to being this bloated bro, it feels weird 24/7, as soon as i wake up.....i paid nothing for the first 30 days, and last time i paid $15 i think. not sure how much its going to cost me for the 3rd time though

We use an acne skin scrub that works miracles,,its cheap and has no sides.

I took it for a while. Didn't notice any bloating. It is insanely expensive if you have to pay for it yourself.

your dermatologist shold give you a card so its only 10 dollars a refill. you have to take it for atleast one year.

Accutane hands down is better and way stronger. I used both, I've used Solodyn 135mg 1 pill a Day for 1 1/2 Years straight.

4 months out. I would break out and have lumps under my skin on my face(nodules and cysts). The gear and sweat can take a toll. lol also the sweat from working out and having hair gel didn't help, Using a non comedogenic face wash helps out extremely. Solodyn dosage is based on Your weight. Ask him for a facial cleanser if You don't have one already, Stiefel makes a Acne wash kit in a benzoyl peroxide 4% or 8% kit. The Benzoyl peroxide could dry & irritate Your skin, Causing redness. Like I said everyones skin is different..lol I use for a face wash, a product called Prascion Cleanser(Sodium sulfacetamide, Its an antibacterial agent). It causes no redness or irritation for me and I use it twice a day.

yeah bro, he asked me how much i weighed. im about 220lbs or so, so he told me 115mg ed about 2 months ago. i'll see what happens on tuesday and update u guys. since i have started this solodyn though, my stomach is constantly bloated like a mf'er

dermo basically told me to keep running the solodyn at 115mg ed and come back in 2 months. saw him for about 4 min. lol.....
