i am adding Canola oil to a few meals a day to get enough unsaturated fats for the day, what are peoples thoughts on this as a source of unsaturated fat?

olive oil, cheese, cashews, pb are mine. i use canola pam to scramble my eggs in the morn.
or unsalted almonds...my fav..
yea i did those also the cocoa covered ones.
I think you guys call canola what we call rapeseed. If so, I use it as it has a better omega 3/6 ratio than olive oil. Although I vary my fats between rapeseed, fish oils and pumpkin and sunflower seeds!

Canola oil is pretty good. Just don't cook with it.
The composition of oils/fats changes drastically when heated.
Maybe try some coconut oil. Healthier to cook with, and tastes awesome.
Are you freakin' serious? Read the the article on the link below.

What happens when you cook with it?
What I do know about canola oil is that its genetically made crap to feed the masses.
Sadly I still use it in the form of Pam. I need to cook my eggs and fast, I been trying to use other things like olive oil also. But, canola is still easier.
Try grapeseed oil, make sure it is ''unrefined.''
It has a much thinner texture than EVOO, and a higher smoke point, hence you can work better with it, not to mention grapeseed oil is a miracle of nature, as it is loaded with antioxidants as opposed to the Canadian BS of carcinogenic mass canola oil.
is there something wrong with a tsp of low fat/cal margarine??
I would love to, but where can I get shit that is convenient?
It's easy as hell spraying shit from a airsol can.
But, I might make the switch back to all olive oil. I use to put in a spray bottle and just use it pretty much like Pam.
