    Drop clen 1 week out?

    Hey guys 13 days from my first show, running Clen at 80 right now plan on ramping to 120, I have 2 questions
    - should I split my dosage into two doses a day?
    - also I read you should drop Clen 1 week out from the show because Clen effects your body absorbing carbs so it would effect my carb load before the show?

    Well some people split it am to evening and others take it all at once. I was doing 60/60 about 1hr apart from each other in the morning. Now sure about the other question. Curious to know myself.

    I dont know the answer to ur question but just wanted to wish you luck. Under 2 weeks so keep your goal clear in your head and start planning your after show meal.

    I recommend you split it into two doses. Here's my reasoning; 1) clen is absorbed pretty fast so a high dose like 120mcg or 140mcg will make you shake like a leaf and you'll generally be really uncomfortable, 2) You want to maintain the high body metabolism as long as possible throughout the day. I take one dose as soon as I wake up and one at noon or thereabouts. Anything after noon, clen affects my sleep. 3) Clen increases you body metabolism up to 9% so your body's working pretty hard. I, personally, think spiking your clen all at once maybe hazardous to the health. 4) finally, I've always had good results and more manageable sides from splitting my dosage so I keep doing it.

    You should do a detailed thread about Clen for us who dont know alot about it! We need a good sticky on it.

    For a Saturday morning prejudging you'll want to stop all Clen no latter than Wed. To be on the safe side you might want to drop it all Sun. Clen does appear to have a negative effect on guys during this phase of final prep...not always but there's no point in risking it when you're this close. The hindering with the carb load, I guess it's possible but I haven't seen this be a problem first hand. What I have seen though is it messing up the final days water depletion. Further, and this is the big one, during the water depletion stage, cramps are common and when you throw in Clen this can make it worse.

    Cramps will be your biggest enemy while your on Clen during your dehydration process for being stage ready..

    Cramps at this stage are nothing short of pure torture...they're the worst feeling cramps I've ever experienced. Compound Clen on top of diuretics and it's a mess. Toes curl in so bad they feel like they're breaking, same at the wrist and fingers, hamstrings on fire and if you twist too hard your abs lock up...that one will about make you throw up!

    I myself was worried about a rebound effect and did not drop it nor do my friends that compete.
    FireGuy would be someone to pm with this.

    Because of the possible negative rebound effect, it can be a good idea to continue clen and things like T3 if it was used for a week or two after your diet ends. Low dose. For example, if you dropped the Clen a few days before a show or if you didn't, once the show is over you could drop down to 40mcg/ed for a week or two and then discontinue. This seems to be the most efficient way IMO.
