Hey there,
I'm 6'4", 245lb, 15% bf, former Div 1 football player and currently a personal trainer.
I love being a trainer, but it's not the best job to support a family, unless your client is Madonna, so I'm joining the Coast Guard. They offer the best health plan, and it's only a 4 year commitment.
Enough about that, here's my question.
To join the coast guard, I MUST weight 217lbs. Last time I was 217, I was 12 years old. My muscles are very dense, I look a lot lighter then I am, so it's hard for me to lose weight.
I tried just doing a shit ton of cardio and not lifting but I didn't lose muscle, just 10lbs of fat, but still to heavy.
I got some sust 250 from a client. If I take a cycle, and do everything correct(diet, training, rest) will I go down to 217, or just get ripped at 230? I need to lose weight, regardless if it's fat or muscle. I'm hoping if I build more muscle, it will help torch the fat.
I'm afraid I'm gonna get lean, but not lighter.
What do y'all think I should do?
Thanks in advance
