    Hypothyroidism

Hello all. I haven't posted here in a while. I am 45 year old male. I have been on testosterone replacement for about ten years due to low testosterone of about 200. I have recently been showing symptoms of hypothyroid: fatigue, depression, irritability, constipation, hair thinning, but fatigue has been the biggest. I had a thyroid test that showed TSH of 7 and a second one at over 5. T3 and T4 were within normal range. My DR. started me on Armour about 3 weeks ago. I am now up to 1.5 grains daily but still fatigued. I was considering trying HGH and would like some input whether this would help as I feel my testosterone and thyroid have gone bad at a relatively young age. Thanks. I hope this wasn't answered somewhere else. I did search first.

P.S. my Test levels are usually around 700 to 900.

I don't know if HGH will help hypothyroidism but I can tell you that HGH + T4 does wonders for my body metabolism. I cut fat like crazy and feel great. If your lifestyle is affected due to hypothyroidism I would check to see if HGH has any adverse affect on your endo while on Armour. If there are no adverse affects I would try the HGH. As long as you're not going to get worse, it can only get better. Be cautious about mixing compounds in your body so do your research. You might want to ask your doc about HGH and Armour.

Thanks for responding. I will ask my doc if there are any contraindiciations. Makes me wonder if growth hormone levels may be low as well since testosterone and thyroid are both low. I will let you know what he says.
