but then the oil will just accumulate upwards, which will be at the bottom of the bottle. and when you want to use it, you put it up right again, and the oil will then.....(not sure)

The oil doesn't accumulate when the jar is turned upside down. I think it has to do with the shape since it isn't symmetrical.
I tried it and it works!

I then take the boiled eggs and dump into a colander and hit with cold water. Then dump back into the pail and cover with cold water. Sometimes the egg shells just fall off!
