back then i trained for 1 year, gained 25lbs.
then took 2 months off (no diet, no training).. then lost 20lbs.
so 20lbs was water weight or what?
EDIT: was taking supplements with real food, around 2.5k calories per day.

you only lose water if you were holding water in the first place, like coming off a cycle.
if you lost weight when you stop going to the gym, maybe its atrophy from lock of training.
i was also taking creatine that time, that's why i thought it was water weight.
the effect of creatine with regards to water retention is quite minimal. might account for...1lb i suppose.
I always thought water retention from creatine was extremely high.....thus being why your weight went up so much while working out with it
maybe i need to get another brand of creatine![]()
which brand do you use?
