    Maid Service

    Who has it, at what frequency, and how much are you paying? I have about 3k sq.ft.

    Good experiences, bad experiences? Obviously want to hire a licensed and insured outfit..

    I had it years ago in a smaller apartment and I think it was every other week for $60 if I recall correctly.

    I had one until a recent move. Now I doubt I will hire another as I don't think I could trust another.

    Mine however was not licensed or insured but just a friend of a friend who done it for a living. Was doing it 2x weekly for 60 which was pretty good. Everything except organising my clothing which I prefer to do...

    Never had a bad experience.

    I've been married 15.. My wife hates to clean, has a busy professional career, and when she's not running around with austinite or her 'friends' or whatever, she's not too excited about spending her free time cleaning.. so I've been the main one that cleans for years now and I can't stand it.

    I actually do a pretty good job, but I'm just sick of it. Vacuuming three levels every week, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, etc. fvck that.. kids help a little but their cleaning abilities are not up to my standards and I just end up going over their work anyway.

    seriously though... we used a maid service here called Molly Maids and while they did not look anything like these ladies, they were very thorough and it cost us $150.
