    What is a shaker?

I've heard people talking about using a shaker to make protein shakes. Is this like a blender that you don't need to plug in? If so where can i get one.

I guess that you are under 21. A shaker is commonly used in bars. It looks like a metal cup the afixes to the top of a glass. You manually shake it. When people ask for thier martinins stirred and not shaken, they are requeting that a shker not be used.

Shakers are commonly available at any kitchen suply store, on the Internet, many licquor stores, and most department store. You might even try K-Mart.

Thanks, I've seen my fair share of those in bars and I think I actually have one somewhere. I guess I never thought of using it to make protein shakes with.

Personally, I like mine with 2/3 cup of protien shke power, six big ice cubes and 1/2 cup of water blended in a blender and low speed for two or three minutes. They come out with the consitency and flavor ao a McDonalds frappe.

For the longest time, this was the closest thing to a "treat" that I would get in my diet.
