    How do you all cook your yams/sweet potatos???

    I am starting my dieting tomorrow and was just wondering how you'll go about cooking your yams/sweet potatos.

    Wrap them in foil and bake them in the oven on about 350 until knife inserts easily.. about an hour.

    Do you put any spices or anything on them to live'in them up?

    I put fat free I cant belive its not butter and cinnamon on mine . But I guess you use what ever you prefer.

    The easiest way is take the potato poke holes in it with a fork all over the place, place it in a microwave for i'd say at the least 8-10mins depending on how nice your microwave cooks... Then cook it up, when its mushy its done!!!

    I roast them in the oven,when done I take them out,peel the skin,mash with Orange juice,brown sugar,butter,a touch of allspice and a shot of rum...salt and pepper to taste.........but that's just me

    That sounds very good ,, BUT when cutting fat its a NONO to much sugar.

    But if your not cutting fat then it would be something I would even try one day. Like on my building cycle.

    I agree with you sweetheart,but when I diet I take a little longer...I have to have food that tastes good..I've been in this game to long....I only go really strict when absolutely neccesary.....otherwise I'd be in a padded room
