everthing you mentioned is an ESTER
the compound which holds Test. to it
some last a few hours
and some last a few weeks
to be specific you'd have to look up the times
do a search... it would take us forever to explain all the differences and similarites
the drug profiles is a good place to start
djboots, take a look at this, may help...
this is a good overall explanation by DOC

or check out the profiles on the main page and look at test. enth, cyp, prop

this my answer some of your questions
Ro
Cypionate is the heaviest ester and propnate is the lightest. The heavier - the less total testosterone (mg per mg) and the longer the half/active life.
Propinate::: Pros: blood levels elevated within a few days, blood levels are easy to manipulate (once you stop your blood levels go to nominal amounts rather quickly), ummm, Cons: frequent injections are necessary for stable blood levels, frequent administration means greater amount of scar tissue, many brand names are known to cause site discomfort...
Cypionate::: Pros: blood levels are easy to keep even due to a longer half life, less frequent injections needed to maintain even androgen levels, less scar tissue from less frequent administration, typically less site discomfort, ummm, Cons: blood levels are harder to control since the active life is nearly three weeks, takes about three weeks for your blood levels to really get to where they will be for the meat of the cycle (unless you frontload) it...
Enanthate::: Somewhere inbetween the above but more simular to Cypionate than Propinate...
Prop - Shorter Ester leads to less water retention
Cyp & Enan. - Longer ester leads to more water retention
