I started working out a good 3 months ago. I've been taking creatine and protein supplements, as well I have a multivitamin I take. Anyways I was fairly cut before I started working out. I've put on I'd say all together now a good 20 pounds, 10 pounds being muscle, other 10 being fat. Now I don't know maybe I'm mistaken but the 10 pounds seems like a big difference looks wise to me. I'm glad with the muscle gain, although I'm definitely not as cut, I can definitely see a size gain, so can everyone else who knows me so I know I'm gaining muscle. When I started I was told to eat hella protein... like 1 gram per pound of body weight, so my diet changed a lot, I eat probably 3x as much as before just to get the protein... maybe I just can't eat a lot but I find myself eating when I'm full just to get the last of the protein in. I'm guessing this is where the extra fat came from. Now I'm wondering did I waste my time or is there anyway to keep the gains I got and continue to workout and gain muscle but as the same time shred the extra pounds of fat I have before about mid-june when I'll start hitting the beach again. Thanks a ton, I'm about 6'1"-6'2" and about 190 pounds now. Any help would be great, thanks a ton.
