    Injectable Vitamin B-12 FAQ

    Q. Does supplementing with non-injectable B-12 give you the same effects?

    A. To simply answer this question, the answer is no. Your GI tract will destroy more than 90% of vitamin b-12 when you take it orally. When you inject gets absorbed differently.

    Q. Is injectable B-12 legal?

    A. You may buy it over the net legally, but it is difficult to walk into a pharmacy and pick it up. Here, in North America it is legal. It is also easy to get in Canada

    Q. What benefits do I have when taking B-12?

    A. Vitamin B-12 is known to increase RBC (red blood cells.) It is also known to dramatically increase appetite and energy. Some people may not notice the appetite affects as well as others.

    Q. Who should use B-12?

    A. Anyone can use B-12. But with Injectables I would advise someone be 18 years of age or older. But of course, 21 years of age or older when using other substances such as steroids

    Q. Where is B-12 found?

    A. B-12 is found in virtually everything you consume on a daily basis. The B-12 in the food you consume is not equivalent to the B-12 you would inject, the food you consume is smaller than the injects.

    Q. How many Cubic Centimeters (CC’s) should I take weekly?

    A. Any amount you desire. No more than 7cc’s (7,000mcgs) a week. Some people take ½ cc or 1cc a week some take 5-7. Try to do two weeks on, than two weeks off, and so on.

    Q. Can you overdose on B-12 if it’s water-soluble?

    A. I’m sure you could but you would have to try …..hard…..10cc + daily

    Q. how quickly will one notice the energy and appetite?

    A. The energy may show up three days to a week. The appetite will show up about the second week, but of course, this depends on the person.

Q.For someone just using injectable b-12, can any sort of increased muscle mass/strength be expected?

    A. I have been using it for a while now. I have noticed a little bit of mass, but it is probably from the increase in appetite. Strength is not any higher, nor is it lower. There are no studies stating increased strength/mass. But b12 is needed for cell division and tissue growth

    Q. Does it hurt?
    A. No, not compared to anything else you can inject. Of course it all depends on your pain threshold too. B12 it often used to cut painful injectables ..(prop….)

Q.Can you stack? Is there a problem with taking it while on a cycle?

    A. There is no problem "stacking" it . It may be mixed with water or oil based injectables.

Thai Guy, do you have a source for that B-12 FAQ. I have some concerns with some of the statements.

whoa! i dont like seeing that there. EVERY drug has toxic parameters. the RDA for this drug is 3mcg and on average people are taking 1000mcg. toxicity apparantly hasnt been fully extablished for B12 but it does exist: (Toxicity not established but people taking vitamin B12 injections may experience skin problems if in large excess, but will normalize once the injections are stopped...http://www.anyvitamins.com/vitamin-b...bamin-info.htm).

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but I had a couple questions.

I've heard that increased RBC can cause fatigue.

Above it says that B-12 can increase energy.

    Which is it?

I have a ton of it laying around so I've been incormorating abouit 750 mg ED into my tren/prop cycle.
I've been very tired - just wondered if it was related to the B-12, or if I should add more B-12 to combat the fatigue.

VERY high RBC causes severe fatigue. I am currently running B12 at 1000mcg ED and feeling great. I have suffered from high RBC in the past.

Did that come from too much B12? I also run it ed at 1000mcgs.. keeps my appetite high

no it came from a long cycle. The b12s haven't caused me any probs and are really good for my energy levels.

hmm... i literally just got back from the pharmacy and bought 2 amps of injectable B12 over the counter. (i'm in australia). but it cost me 10 bucks. normally i wouldn't pay such rediculous prices for anything but wanted to try it first before i order it online.

are we all agreed that 1000mcg ED is the standard dose for us?

if i buy the one from a-r, it would cost me like $45 AUD. plus $30 AUD for delivery. i wonder if i can order a whole heap. you think customs could seize it even though it's legal?

i really need to find a cheaper way. my PM box is empty.

get this. i've just been reading the instruction paper that comes in the box with my B12 and under the heading "Adverse Reactions" it reads:

Sensitisation to hydroxocobalamin is rare but may manifest itself as itching exanthema and rarely, anaphylaxis

Antibodies to hydroxocobalamin-transcobalamin II complex may develop during hydroxocobalamin therapy

Other reported adverse effects include diarrhoea, peripheral vascular thrombosis, cardiac arrest, urticaria or a feeling of swelling of the whole body

Pulmonary oedema and congestive heart failure have been reported during early vitamin B12 treatment, possibly as a result of an increase in blood volume induced by the drug.

Polycythaemia vera may occur (see precautions)

Arhythmias secondary to hypokalaemia have appeared at the beginning of parenteral treatment with hydroxocobalamin.

the main things the precaution part says is:

    DO NOT USE INTRAVENOUSLY!

Vitamin B12 therapy may mask symptoms of subacute degeneration of the spinal cord, or of the true diagnosis of pernicious anaemia. and therefore should not be used until deficiency of vitamin B12 has been established.

Folic acid may potentiate the neurological complications of vitamin B12 defiency, so should not be administered to patients with pernicious anaemia.

mista massive, what's the exact contents of the amps you got over the counter? I'm thinking veterinary sources for injectable b12 might be the go over here.

they are dosed at 1000ug/mL or 1000mcg/mL, however u want to write it.

i just walked into the pharmacy and was like:

"yo yo yo bitch, hook me up with some injectable B12 or i'll pimp slap ya"

    nah, jk

i just walked in and asked if they sold injectable B12 and if it was perscription. she said yes we got it and no perscription needed. sweet i thought.

    10 BUCKS FOR 2 mL????

    what a rip off

I dont run anything all the time i am a big believer in the body building up tolerance to anything it takes so i have breaks or just use it for bulking or in pct

sounds like i need to play some common sense into this one.

for me, i think i will go with, during bulk, and during times of lost appetite, such as PCT when test levels are low.
