Hi, green leafy veggies (i.e. spinach, broccoli...) are considered fibrous carbs and thus not as crucial to count as say, starchy carbs (i.e. brown rice, oats, yams, sweet potatoes...)

Usually a serving at 2-3 meals (i.e. meal 1 & meal before lifting or the one before that) of your day should be good. I did hear that veggies should be avoided for PWO & PPWO, because even though they are fibrous carbs - they slow the digestion process down, therefore halting the absportption of the other important aminos and starchy carbs to your starving muscles.

On non-lifting days, I don't see why not to add them to a few more meals.
