First we went over lab results...and I have included link to those below. Keep in mind these test were taken while on 10mg does of androgel.

Basically she didn't say a whole heck of a lot...pointed out the things that are low or high on the test, and a simple explanation as to why. She has prescribed something else from the compounding pharmacy and I have listed the ingredients to that out as well. Anyways...just looking for input. I am still tired all the time, no sex drive, no morning wood...then with the help of cialis I am able to perform...but takes forever to reach climax, and even on the cialis it still takes a long time to achieve a full erection.

She also mentioned that my white and red cells counts where low, and that would be a lack of iron, and that she would add something to the perscribtion to help with that. Well..what I don't get...is why would my cell count be low because of iron...I take a good multi everyday, as well as ZMA every night before bed. Seems like I would be getting plenty of zinc.

Here is what the lable says on what I am taking now...

    test75 /D25 /MT5 /ZN25MG /SEL10MCG (take one cap, twice a day)

    lab results...

    jeepman,

I just went over your very thorough blood work and I'd be willing to give my left nut to get the same results you have. However I believe your doc ought to take another look at your RBC because it is not low; 5.07 in a range of 4.2-6.10. Your WBC is low but only .5 (five tenths) and that can be easily corrected by taking some Folic Acid. Take one or two tabs of 400 mcg folic acid every day until your next blood work and I'll guarantee you your WBC will go up to normal. A lack of iron doesn't affect your white count inso far as I am aware but it would affect your hemoglobin which just happens to be very much in the normal range. Your hematocrits are only one tenth of a point low and is nothing to worry about. Hematocrits are the percentage of the amount of blood that is occupied by red blood cells that are packed together. Your MCV and MCH are normal so the crits might be just an anomaly. The day before and the day of your next blood test drink a lot of water and it should bring up the volume of blood enough to make up one tenth. You could try taking some iron tabs a couple, three days a week for awhile but unless you have a "serum ferritin"test that shows you are low on iron you probably don't need it. Once your body gets enough iron, it stores it up for quite a while so you don't want to over do it. If you up your testosterone to 100 mg it will most likely put all of your blood work in the normal ranges, maybe even raise your RBC to the high end of the range.
You might want to have the blood flow to your penis checked if you're having erection problems, esp while taking Cialis. Also some of your symptoms sound very similar to depression. FYI, Check out the following site: http://www.minddisorders.com/Del-Fi/...sfunction.html

Mobligator, thanks for the information!! I would like to point out that this blood work was done while I was on 10mg of Androgel, my test level was at 319 before starting the androgel. I might try your folic acid suggestion just to see if I feel better.

As far as this being depression...I kinda think that entire mind set is what got me in this mess. I went to the doc for always being tired, run down...blabala about 5-6 years ago and dopped me up on effexor and I haven't been the same ever since! I stayed on effexor for about 2 years, and finally went back because of the sexual side effects it was causing. (unable to climax) He thought it would be a good idea to add a little wellbutrin to the mix and cut back on effexor some. I tired this route for awhile, and no relief on the climax issue. I finally winged myself off of effexor and stuck with just the wellbutrin for awhile. I was finally able to reach climax but it was still alot of work. And coming off the effexor hase was great! I will never go back on that stuff again! I missed some great years of my life because of that crap. Anyways...stayed on wellbutrin for awhile...but still wasn't happy with the whole climax issue...so I got off of everything completly..and now feel better mentally than I ever have! It was several months later before i went to the doc for the libido issues thinking that maybe it was going to take awhile for everything to get out of my system and what not.

And that background basically gets me to my #1 post in this thread.

I also think if it was a mental thing like depression my test levels would have been closer to a normal range at my first blood test (it was 319) And while they are getting closer to the mid range of normal....nothing really seems to be changing for me, or maybe I am expecting too much.

What sucks is I remember back when I was about 40lbs heavier (all fat) I was horney all the time, but had a wife at the time that was never intrested in it. Now, I am in the best shape of my life, have a great body..actually have abs that you can see! Girls commenting on my body all the time! A hot HORNEY girlfriend, and most of the time I feel like I fall short in her eyes. We can't have quickie's because it takes me 20mins to get an erection, and then all of sessions have to turn in to a fck fest because it takes me so long to reach climax.

So my thoughts are...why are my test levels low at the first blood test (319)? I kinda feel like my issues my steam from why they were low to begin with...? I know we are getting those levels up...but why were they low to begin with? I dont know...just kinda brain storming here...
