I'm going to cut to the chase and be as factual and brief as possible because there is a lot of info that needs to be outlined:

I'm 23, 5"8, 150lbs. Training for 4 years. Suffering from longstanding testosterone defficiency. Been on t replacement for 2 years 100mg sus a week.

Always trained hard but found hard to put on muscle, lost muscle easily, gained fat easily, have pot belly, fatty chest and hips, overall condition poor. This was before we found out I had the test def. After, still the same results, in fact a little worse (more fat).

Here are some findings from my research:

One cause of hormone imbalance in men is that their testosterone is increasingly converted to estrogen.

The reason that testosterone replacement therapy does not work by itself for many men is that exogenously administered testosterone may convert (aromatize) into even more estrogen, thus potentially worsening the hormone imbalance problem (i.e., too much estrogen and not enough free testosterone)

The testosterone can be converted to estrogen. The estrogen is then taken up by testosterone receptor sites in cells throughout the body. When an estrogen molecule occupies a testosterone receptor site on a cell membrane, it blocks the ability of serum testosterone to induce a healthy hormonal signal. It does not matter how much serum free testosterone is available if excess estrogen is competing for the same cellular receptor sites.

Estrogen can also increase the production of sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), which binds the active free testosterone into an inactive "bound testosterone." Bound testosterone cannot be picked up by testosterone receptors on cell membranes. For testosterone to produce long-lasting, libido-enhancing effects, it must be kept in the "free" form (not bound to SHBG) in the bloodstream. It is also necessary to suppress excess estrogen because this hormone can compete for testosterone receptor sites in the sex centers of the brain and the genitals.

I believe the test injections I've been taking have been converting to estrogen. I have a huge 'beer gut' and fat chest. It's disgusting.

I've been to my endocrinologist and to put it bluntly he hasn't got a clue. He didn't even know test could convert to estrogen. I'm in this one alone I must treat myself.

I started taking arimidex 0.5mg twice a week today to get estradiol to lower levels whilst allowing the 100mg a week test to work effeciently.

I now want to start taking dnp to get rid of this disgusting fat asap and I want advice.

I know dnp gets a bad rap, this is now what this is about. What I want to know is if taken right what results can I expect from a 10 day course? Should I be thinking about doing dnp or piling on the muscle? I have to do something.
