Hey,
I've heard that taking in more than 30g of protien in an hour causes your body to just turn the protein into waste.
So would this mean that if you drink a protein shake with 50-60g of protein (whey and casien) mixed with water, then 20-30g of that shake would go to waste?
I imagine this must be dependent upon body size....
For the record I weigh about 245lbs
and I have about 180lbs of lean tissue (yes I know I'm fat and I am trying to lose weight)
Do you think I could drink a 60g protein shake in a half hour and absorb all of it?
