I got this damn thing recently and for the life of me couldn't get rid of it. Had to pay some nut in India and he finally got it off after 30 minutes of work.

It was explained to me it is not a "virus" per say, but instead some kind of program (what's the difference?) that the virus filters are unable to detect.

The damn thing locked up my laptop, and all I could do was power the machine off.

Anyone else ever get this?

Any advice?
