No matter how you slice it Covid-19 is still a Corona virus and the hydroxychloroquine would still be effective based on hundreds of Drs prescribing it to their patients and they were having 98-100% cure rate. I will look to see if I can find a link to one of these Drs. And Trump was taking Hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic when he came out and said Hydroxychloroquine works. However, you can’t stay on it for long periods of time as I’m sure it gets toxic, and based on how fast Trump recovered from this virus I would bet money that he took it in Walter Reed. Not sure what he said he took but the vaccine isn’t ready yet and I highly doubt he would be a guinea pig to test it. Even Chris Cuomo from CNN took it when he got it but he took the more toxic version Chloroquine (of course you never heard that on the media).
