How long is it accelerated for? Just during the cycle? Or will I have to take propecia for the rest of my life?

The only steroid that actually contains DHT is "sten" other convert to it. Proscar and Saw plametto can help you prevent the DHT from going into your scalp. Take a look at the post by the "IronGame" on hairloss.
Actually - you are probably better off with progesterone for countering conversions to DHT. I know what you're thinking - but it's true.
