"Spend my dollar; parked in a holler 'neath the mountain moonlight; hold her
uptight; make a little lovin', a little turtle dovin' on a Mason Dixon night.
Fits my life, oh, so right: My Dixieland Delight."

I went to see them in concert back in the 80's D@mn might have been the late 70's

Im not a big fan of country at all, but when me and my friends start off at ****ty little bars for cheap beer and i catch that initial buzz, i gotta admit, some of those tunes just get me in the mood.

    As stated, family tradition.

David Allen Coe - you dont know my name and pussy whipped again (to tease my pussy whipped friends while we are bs'in at the bar)

Pat McCurdy - Sex and Beer

Are you ppl actually reading this crap. You all talk about healthy this and that yet you dump alcohol into your system. What the hell? I never touch it and never will. I seen what it can do if it gets out of hand...not saying that it does with all of you but my point is don't claim to be this health nut and dump all that alcohol into your system, makes the rest of us write stuff like this.

    for real..

the best drinking songs are irish drinking songs. There's a bar on the riverwalk called 'durty nellys' and they have a piano and everybody in the bar gets drunk and sings at the top of their lungs. Too many good songs to name. i dont drink that often but when i do thats the place for me

Well, I don't drink much... but when I do you'll most likely find me in an Irish pub (eihter here in Montreal or over in Liverpool... never been to Ireland sadly) and I love to sing along to classics like "Seven Drunken Nights", "The Pub with no Beer", "Whiskey in the jar", "Drunken Sailor", "Black velvet band", "Finnegan's wake"...

I specially love "The Wild Rover" I'll sing along to that 'till I'm blue in the face.

    Now those are drinkin' songs!

Anything by Boland or Ragweed. Back in college, my buddies and I would drink to "Roll On" by Alabama. Everytime they would say "roll on", we would have to chug.
