taking coldstone to see it for his birthday friday night .. i actually cant wait to see it also
i forgot they made a movie about it. I read the book in high school, anybody else read it?
Man, I'm afraid to see it. I need to stop dwelling on how much fun high school was anyway. ****ed real world.
That movie is the ****, I loved it. Must see flick IMO!
I still like "The Program" a lot to though. To this day that is still one of my picks for football movies.
I heard it was a let down by one of my old teamates....hope they were wrong...seeing it tonight or tom.

i had a few friends watch it this weekend and they said that it sucked. but those are only opinions

I just saw it last night and loved it. I could never know what it's like to be on the line, but as a college athlete I thought they did a great job emphasizing the pressures of atheletics vs school/scholarships and injuries in high school. My boyfriend liked it as well and he played college ball. Definitely not your hollywood/varsity blues flick, and worth seeing for the film style too. Maybe it's the hormones, but I was almost in tears ...almost at certain points of the movie. Don't bring a chick if she's not into sports because she definitley won't get it. I'd love to see De LaSalle (california) play one of those teams.
