I think you're very seriously misreading my intents here. I find it very hard to believe i have done this HUNDREDS of times, or even a handful, and NEVER has it been done outside the realm of a back and forth sparring session in the name of good clean fun. Believe me, if I or anyone wanted to make a living correcting spelling and grammar on the boards to be an ass, they could have a field day - my own posts judiciously included. I know that no one is typing a doctoral thesis here, and if one can't appreciate the irony of a sox fan responding to factually correct statistical dominance on the part of the Yankees over the last 80 years with a "you spelled world series wrong" comment, than there's really nothing I can say that's going to change your mind. It's the self-deprecating internet equivalent of an individual finding out that his new neighbor makes six times more money than him, drives a nicer car, has a hotter wife and is far better looking and responds by saying, "yeah, well your fly's down". I don't know what more I can do to qualify it as such than by calling myself a retard in the post.

Yankees farm system wasnt strong enough to get them Randy Johnson, whom Colangelo practically would have giiven away for mediocre talent, to get rid of a 40 year old pitcher who didnt even want to play in AZ. Yankees farm system is hurting, they have traded away to much talent for agin veterens over the years. After awhile that hurts. Giambi is all done, that leaves them with a need for first base/dh next year, they traded that away in Nick Johnson. However, they will still be competitive, they will sign Carl Pavano and Beltran, and maybe just maybe Clement. Red Sox farm system isnt much better either.
