Thats why i mostly keep it on the track man. Its not safe anywhere.

I teach Motorcycle Safety courses, I have too many horror stories to list. I push the track on my students alot.

    i rode a 10r, 4th gear wheelies are amazing...

I wouldnt wanna race one tho, the throttle is too choppy, even after being on a dyno...

2001 CBR 929. I'd love to get a new 1000R, but my bike has a lot of custom work to it and looks sweet, all black and red. I really don't want to start all over. Its wicked fast. I know a new one will be faster, but I don't race, I don't need an extra 0.20 seconds in the quarter. This one is plenty fast for the roads around my house. Don't like to speed much anymore anyway. Too dangerous. Too many cops. I don't need any more tickets.

You got that right. I know a few people who have totalled brand new bikes trying to show off. You have to respect them. Young kids and inexperienced people don't understand that.

Take a look at my baby in the upper corner. Its worth more than my car. I have invested tons of money into it and I do race it whenever I get a chance. The only prob. is finding leathers to fit. I keep getting bigger.

P.s. I totaled it in 2002 and rebuilt it better and faster than ever.
