I live in what is undoubtedly one of the roughest continents on the planet (Africa) and believe me when I tell you that in societies where violence is an every day occurrence (Philly sounds like a rough place too) guns are one of the best ways to curb violent crime. Sounds silly I know, but when the only thing that stops three guys on the corner from busting into your property is the fact that they might get cut in half with a 12-gauge, you will understand.

Those same three guys come down the passage and both you and the trio are unarmed, predictable result for you and your loved ones. I'll take my chances with my brothers Smith and Wesson, thank you !!
