We did this at the beach a lot...

Friend walks to girl layin out and says: Excuse me. See that guy over there (points to me, waves, and I wave back)

Girl: um, yea...(looking annoyed, waiting for the "he wanted me to ask you...")

but instead, friend says: Well, he wanted me to come ask you if you thought I was cute.

Girl: at first like whatever, then catches on and confused says: what?

Friend: yea, he wanted to know if you thought I was cute, i mean he wants to know, not me.


Usually the girls started giggling a little and ALWAYS worked, good ice breaker, and not the typical line, though it makes you think it is.
