I don't blame you..I have had this discussion countless times with my friends...I drink occasionally to be somewhat more social,but there are quite a few people I know that are basically dependant on it for everything in life.....good call though

I really don't have this problem with my friends anymore...I hardly drink so they've gotten used to me showing up with my protein shakes and bottles of water. Hell when they plan a get together they actually buy a case of water just for me now...

I realy dont se the harm in drinking a couple of times a year
Like once every 5th or 6th week cant do any harm to our workouts??

Yeah I was more directing that towards the others that refrain from alcohole when meeting friends.
Me personaly I dont like drinking so I dont drink lol. But if I did like the whole party scene then I for sure would drink and have fun once a month or so.
Bodybuilding is a lifestyle but not my entire life.

I used to drink a lot..Then I realized it served no purpose in my life other then making me numb to reality. Then I just fixed reality....It works a lot better...

I tried everything up to cocaine and I can say I'm lucky cause I hate almost everything. Drugs (alcohol included) just don't do it for me. I feel so more confident when I'm sober. I hate altered perception.

i used to like to drink alot... then my wife pretty much phucked me over, hurt like hell... i had 2 choices... drown the pain in drink, or use the pain to better myself. i chose the first option for a week and quickly realized it wasn't gonna change anything. 5 months later i don't hardly drink at all, i put on 30 lbs and people swear i m using steroids, but i m not...at least not yet... i have a closet full of goodies just waitin to go....

i drink every weekend! once sometimes twice a weekend!! Im still where i wanna be (looks/strength). But i will admit my monday sometimes tuesday workouts are harmed!!

that's funny because i'm the same way with bees when i'm on the riding lawn mower. my lawn mower has a cup holder and i go to town mowing having some beers. i always go straight for the bees nest and run it over. they generally are pretty pissed off.
