Jasper and angelis, I have a 2004 999s also. Do you guys notice hard starting when cold also hot starts its like it barely whats to start when hot. I had the 996sps and some others this is my third 999 and they all did the same thing. You think for such a pricey bike they could fix this problem. When I get a chance I will take a pic of mine.

i wish i could show off my truck now but it's still stock. i'm in the process of making my truck look nice. fiberglassing the speaker box in my garage right now. 8, 15's should make some noise. completion date is around 2/1/06 though. will be getting my 24's at the same time. why 2/1/05 you ask? thats about when i will be getting my tax return.

Hey Sta11ion, I really never had any problems with cold or hot starts. I do use about half the choke on a cold start. Even with the larger motor in my Harley (which is a 113" motor about 1900cc which has a 350 amp battery and a 2.4kw starter and it turns over quick). Have you contacted the dealer on this matter? It could be due to the sheeer volume size of each cylinder being a v-twin. The duc prob uses a smaller starter and bat due to fitment and weight.. The duc def doesnt start like an inline 4 japanese bike. Also, How do you like that 400 dollar servicing? It def is not a cheap bike to own.

The first one is my 04' Mustang GT with the 20inch Forte rims on it. The nest 2 are of my new bike (Gsx-R600), I know its not that awesome compared to the ducati, but hey its my first bike! Its been a blast so far! The last one is a pic of our 66' mustang, with a straight 6cyl in it. I didnt want to drag it out (carb is messed up right now) so I just posted that pic, its really nice when its running!
