nolvadex vs armidex

Why do most people use nolvadex during cycle and PCT? When armidex is much better at blocking estrogen and at reducing bloating? Is there some drawback/side effects to armidex... I mean if you can get nolva and armidex at virtually the same price, couldnt you just use armidex instead?

yes you could during cycle. But i would still have some nolva to run during PCT

Nolvadex binds to the receptors of estrogen blocking them. U actually will have high levels of estrogen in ur body with only the use of nolvadex, cus ur just blocking it. This might lead to a sudden surge when u stop taking it of side effects. Armidex blocks the enzyme that is resposible for the conversion of test to estro, called the aromatase i believe. Clomid, while normally used for the inducement of ovulation in women helps the production of a mans natural test. HCG only tricks ur body into thinking that everything is in balance while the clomid kicks in. HCG also very easily converts to estro. So the best is to just have ample supply of armidex for ur cycle and nolvadex for any problems that still might occur. Choose to take HCG if u wish i have always just finished with some clomid. Also remember when u get off, ur training to maintain ur gains. Dont over train.

Actually, mg for mg, nolvadex is better than clomid for raising testosterone levels.

I think if you read my nolvadex profile I have the reference in there....essentially:

20mgs of nolvadex = 150mgs of clomid


IN terms of raising testosterone, lh, and fsh.

Being the devil's advocate................why is so much stressed placed on Clomid during PCT when one could use only Nolva at lower doses/ less cost and be just effective??

NO. I always reccomend Nolvadex over clomid, Billy Llewellyn does also, as does Big Cat, etc...

I don't know who's sticking to Clomid now-a-days...FContact was the last guy I saw arguing for Clomid over Nolvadex. He was, of course, wrong.

I've seen posts with members recommending Nolva only PCT but there are tons more that recommend Clomid and Nolva. Even the PCT stickys have the outline of Nolva & Clomid. I've always ran both because it seemed that was common practice..........but I think I've had a change of heart.

I have read your profiles Hooker and the thought of Nolva have a better impact of raising natural test always stuck in my mind. I just never challenged anyone to expand on the Clomid issue.

I reccomend Nolv, a-dex, and hcg for PCT. I don't like Clomid at all...there's alot of stuff you can use during PCT (Cyclofenil, for example), but Nolvadex is ideal, IMO...

Weeks 1-11 Deca 40mg

I will be using Liquidex instead of Nolvadex as my ancillary during my cycle

Nolvadex, as you have informed me, may increase progesterone receptors, so i will not want to be using it during my Test & Deca cycle

When my cycle has finished and all the Deca is out of my system would you still recommend Nolvadex over Clomid for PCT?

I was talking moreso while on a cycle.. if armidex is better than nolvadex for the bloating/estrogen factors. Of course I am more interested in raising test levels during pct.. that is why I use clomid/nolva/armidex for PCT.

Yeah...20mgs of nolvadex, and bump the deca to 400mgs.
