I agreed, so your studies are waiting... so are we.
Less than 48 hours bitch. I cant wait for you to get banned.
All this started with your claims that glutamine will not do sh*t... You gave the statistics, now back it up.
First we asked you prove or guide us to your information or studies... your replyWe have proved glutamine does something as you stated in the bold. Then you say you have 20 studies and all I have to do is post one... Time is a ticking, jackass.Originally Posted by big'r

Listen you piece of shit. You didn't specify protein synthesis. You wanted any data to show that glutamine was/is effect. That has been done. Now,instead of calling ppl names. How come you haven't posted any relevant studies to prove your claims? All you are doing is trying to pick apart info and twist it around.
Here's your quote you piece of shit. And I'm being more than kind when I refer to you as that.Trust me!!!!!!!!!!

(And i don't mean in healthy people, not hospitalized patients under severe post-operative stress).
Since the reason to buy something in the first place would be as study showing it's benefits....... Right?"
Read that and shut the fck up,and put up.

First I did post the source, you are choosing not to acknowledge it... And Proving my points??? You were the one spouting off from your cocksucker. You were the one making claims. We asked for your references...Originally Posted by big'r
Next, I hope your 20 references are irrelevant as it will prove our point. You are not proving your point at all... trying to squirm out of your banning, eh?

Still waiting for the 1 study...........
Maybe i will post them anyway.
But my challenge is only fair: Lot's of people use it while there's no evidence whatsover glutamine does anything in healthy people (for BB-ing purposes).
So you'll have to aknowledge you're using a supplement without any proof of it's worth!

Jesus. I leave the forum for the night and all shit breaks loose...
I stopped using extra glutamine about 1 month ago. There's some in the Whey powder so that will do for now. I can't tell if it makes a difference with all the shit I take but I'm started to believe the less shit I slam into my body the better.
Big'r, you're a sweetheart. Making friends I see....

Big-r huh....
Why don't you atleast post your stats so we can really see how big you are/aren't.
I have been reading these post for a while now and really haven't seen much proof from your point of view. While everyone else that has posted about postive effects of glutamine. I will have to agree with everyone else. I have a couple of friends that have gotten there pro-cards, been to the big stage. I will continue to listen to them before, even thinking about taking your advice with no info. As they have told me... glutamine is very important supplement. I take it four times a day. Also very important while working out as it enhances nitrogen while traning, .I get my info from ones that have pro-cards, where do you get yours?????..... right on pinnacle....
I will post the one study... and you should post them anyway as you said "I will!!!" and you also said "my 20 studies", or you going to try getting out of that too???Originally Posted by big'r
This study is from The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.
ABSTRACT
Twenty-nine (17 men, 12 women) collegiate track and field
athletes were randomly divided into a creatine monohydrate
(CM, n 5 10) group, creatine monohydrate and glutamine
(CG, n 5 10) group, or placebo (P, n 5 9) group. The CM
group received 0.3 g creatine•kg body mass per day for 1
week, followed by 0.03 g creatine•kg body mass per day for
7 weeks. The CG group received the same creatine dosage
scheme as the CM group plus 4 g glutamine•day21. All 3
treatment groups participated in an identical periodized
strength and conditioning program during preseason training.
Body composition, vertical jump, and cycle performances
were tested before (T1) and after (T2) the 8-week supplementation
period. Body mass and lean body mass (LBM)
increased at a greater rate for the CM and CG groups, compared
with the P treatment. Additionally, the CM and CG
groups exhibited significantly greater improvement in initial
rate of power production, compared with the placebo treatment.
These results suggest CM and CG significantly increase
body mass, LBM, and initial rate of power production
during multiple cycle ergometer bouts.
Times a wastin'... hahahahaha
Why do people come here to start crap? BigR you were the one that said glutamine was sh*t so I think it is up to you to prove that, it is not up to the world to prove to you it works.
Put up or shut up
Also you need to get an AV that is not so gay looking.. You are trying to be sexy but no one is as sexy as me.. I'm a sexy bitch!

Now we're getting to where i want you. You actually posted a single study (you got some respect from me for that).
But where does it say the glutamine/creatine group gained more muscle than the creatine only?
Now time to earn your respect bitch. Post them 20 studies and if you do that you get to stay.Originally Posted by big'r

Lol. The reason i started this discussion is because i want to confront people with themselves.Originally Posted by Puffader
Because of my challenge people have to actually look at scientific evidence to back up any of the claims supplement sellers make.
The reason why i ask for 1 single post is because i have confronted myself with the aforementioned challenge. And could only find studies showing no effect at all........
I read lot's of posts from fitness instructors, doctors and other "experts". A lot of the time they claim glutamine is benificial. But when you take a look at their references, you always see they could - in no way at all - conclude their supplementation advice fromt their references (as i showed in 2 previous posts)
So be critical for once and take a look at the references. I promise you you will not find anything to back up their claims.
Yes, is makes me laugh though, Bigr's avi is just gay.
