I'm not questioning your ability to figure out how to retrieve the gear.

As a home brewer you'd have BA/BB/whatman filters/sterile vials and mixing vials lying around.You don't have those items,and to go out and purchase those things just to fix a measly 10 ml of Prop isn't worth it from a financial prospective.
So like I said previously,let it go.You had the item replaced by your source.
