    Here comes Wilma!!!

Most powerful hurrican on record and it is headed right for South Florida. Thank god (for me anyways) that it is headed for the west coast first.

This hurricane stuff is really taking its toll. I thought we were out of the woods.

Guess we better buckle down one more time.

I already called my boy in Vegas and told him to get the spare room ready . I swear I am NOT doing any rebuilding crap. I'm in the process of selling all my investment property in Florida b/c like OG said, we've been spared but there's always next year. My office building is insured and that's all I want to own in Florida, the rest will be outside the state or on paper. I just can't believe this thing is headed for poor Punta Gorda AGAIN. Then again, that place is still flat from last year so there's not much left to damage.

Exactly, I mean....everyone was freaking out that Rita might hit New Orleans again. I am thinking why not, the place is completely destroyed as is, what further damage can really happen.

it's suppose to lose strength before reaching flordia. it's already down to 165mph from 175mph.

In this day and age it's hard to believe but trust me-->THEY DON'T KNOW JACK SH!T! They are always so far off with their little "cone of death". It should weaken a bit, but it's still gonna fvck up some poor town. Not mine, though. East coast shouldn't get it too bad.

If I am not mistaken, the intensity of a hurricane is the most difficult thing for them to predict. I do not think that anyone has been seriously trying to estimate the strength of the hurricane when it hits the East Coast.

I did hear one weather guy on TV last night say that the current path takes it right over the Everglades. He mentioned that this was bad news for East Coasters because the Storm will likely not lose much strength as it crosses the Glades.

I hope this is the end for this year. I do not want to see Alpha.

Well good news, they're saying that it will strike the West coast as a Cat 1 or 2 and be a Cat 1 by the east coast. Cat 1?!?! HA! I go surfing in Cat 1's!
