No...I walk in to the emergency room and tell them I found this along side a road and could they dispose of it.

Same here. Milk jugs, protein jugs, also I put all caps back on the needle for even more saftey.

I know some diabetics and they only put they cut the needle off the slin pin and put that in biohazard container and just throw the syringe in the trash can.
