    I really am Irish, my fathers entire side is from there and its in my mothers blood.

    the greek portion of the british royal family actually traces back to denmark. all of greece's former aristoracy is germanic. the greeks are a bunch of half turks, so they needed real europeans to govern them.

    at any rate most people in the states are mixed, esp. if you come from an older family. myself, i don't have any irish ancestors, but a lot of people are part irish. i'm glad i don't though because it's not as prestigous to come from a catholic country originally. america was almost all protestant at it's peak, and it's been downhill ever since they started letting anyone in, from no matter how crap a country they came from.

    big ups to ireland though, as they're no longer a crap country and are now doing really well despite the handicap of red hair.
