Hey bros,
I was just curious as to what is better for you; pro/fat or pro/carb before bed... and, does it matter if you are bulking or cutting?

honestly if your bulking, and you feel you need the carbs, go for for a shake with all three.
when I do get all in one.. I wake up and feel full. but thats just me
w/e works for you
pro/fat all the way before going to bed.
pr/carb 2 hours prebed
pro/fat shake 5 mins..........
your body's ability to properly digest carbs gets worse as the night goes on is what i have read.
False!
He Who Trains In The Afternoon/evening, Needs Carbs All The Way Up To Bed!

Personally for me off season bulking i have carbs with every meal including before bed, plus its not uncommon for me to wake in the middle of the night for a meal replacement shake that contains carbs.
However i have a very fast metabolism and if i didnt do this i would be ripped all year. So to answer your question there is no right or wrong answer, everyones different, do what works for you.

if you workout late at night then takeing down some carbs is fine but if you eat RIGHT before bed make it pro/fat meal..
What is the best type of Protein before bed? I've heard that even whey is used up before you wake up in the morning?
well if whey is all you got then use it, most people eat a can of tuna or some use a milk casin protein i would assume its personal preffrence i my self use whey and PB
