I think he is unstopable at 200 lbs and should stay there...its just my opinion guys, there was no need for a dick comment Grow up

So tell me where you have seen Shogun "think he is invinceable"? Show me and its cool, problem is he does'nt and that is why i am taking issue with your comment. Shogun is a young guy that loves what he does and is successful, of course he knows he can be beaten, everyone is beatable but right now he is finding his rythum and is excelling. He talks no trash and just puts on a show.

What great young fighter does not have Ego? if you say shogun he is the first I have heard, I listen to all his interviews and he always says I will do my talking in the ring, it was a horrible injury and i wouldnt wish that on anyone. I cant "show you" where he has said that because he prob never has, the smiling and laughing before his fights(which he didnt do at the coleman fight) makes me think this, it could be him having fun, but I take it as ego, my opinion...I also take offense to you flying off the handle like this is the AR Forum, I think we are a closer knit community here and can resolve our issues withould childish name calling. We all agree on 1 thing, we love the sport of MMA, I think we can deal with our issues in a much more adult fashion, if you had asked this questuon first instead of jumping to shoguns aid guns blazing then we would not have a prob.

Honestly I think his smiling all the time is that he truely loves what he does and just enjoys the moment and has a ton of fun.

That might be it, I thought it was ego, I have been wrong before and will be wrong again..I just took it as him not taking the fight seriously because he was much better than his opponents...(he is most of the time)

    1)shogun breaks his arm
2)Ninja comes to check on his brother
3)Coleman threw the ref off and advances
4)Ninja stand up to protect his brother and advances
5)COLEMAN through the first punch have assed at ninja.
    6)Silva charged in
    7)Chaos
Its to bad it happended and CB got yellow carded but its pretty ****ing cowardly when Baroni takes Silva down from behind and Coleman admits to putting his foot on his throat. I never liked Coleman he acted like an idiot when he one the 2000 gp and acted like an idiot again.

I think that Shogun would have won, but I have a ton of respect for Coleman fighting the best guys in the world at the age of 42! I think Coleman was going so crazy at the end becasue he had so much adren****e pumping after he was in that brawl. I like how ninja stood up to say something to COleman and then when Coleman said something back ninja backed down.

Coleman got shotgun down pertty bad, but what an idiot, shogun clearly tapped and Coleman was all over him, he needs glasses or what.

To top it all off Phil Baroni is now at hammer house?????? another great addition to the idiots club.........

I which Wandy would get it on with Coleman, man he would knock is head off.

I think that his attitude was a combination of being pissed at Wanderlei and Ninja and alos the adren****e rush he got form being in a brawl. Coleman is not normally like that...he seems to be a cool guy.

I guess nobody cares that Wanderlei started a brawl.

^^^^Chute Box started the brawl and that is why they got the yellow card...look at the pic of wanderleir storming into the ring (nice takedown Baroni)

Murillo is just venting because his one of his favorite fighters was seriously injured...I do not blame him....It made me sick to see Shogun like that. Also, look at what happen to Sergei...I hated to see that happen to him, I feel he would have won the fight if that did not happen.

Pride31: 2 top fighters lost because they were seriously injured on a takedown.

I posted that pic...Coleman should not have thrown a ref, Silva should have been no where near the ring..wrong on both sides Chute got a yellow card thats the end of it, im happy, now we get to look foward to the return of Shogun and some hammerhouse vs chute box grudge matches! Ninja can vent all he wants as long as i dont have to hear it.... LOL

Look I thinks its great you stick by your man but Baroni took him down from behind). Then Coleman decided hey I will stand on his neck. Not a fluke takedown but a fluke injury. Coleman is acting like a ****head and Ninja backed down becouse he was worried about his brother, not becouse he is afraid of a 42 year old roid head. Wanderdelie did get mad but Coleman was talking mad shit and in OWGP I can't wait to see Coleman get decimated like the bitch he is now. Oh by bitch I mean that gangsta attitude he carries around

i understand what ur getting at sp9 - they're trying to get press, money, reputation, it's staged to build hype.

Still though, this is temporary hype, if he was thinking long-term he'd be acting different IMO

Isnt that what your doing bro I see Shogun is your avatar?....I like shogun much better than I do coleman, I think coleman has been overated since the 2000 HWGP, He never would have won if Kerr had not folded like a cheap card table. The only reason he beat igor is that igor has the worst ground skills for any HW in Pride....He knew Kerr would dominate him like he used to in practice..ever since then he has been a b level fighter...But Shogun f*cked up, he put his arm out there while fallling foward and boom..afterwards ninja did step to coleman then backed up quick(which is funny because even little ninja could prob take coleman) then came hotheaded silva to the rescue..this is not the first time he has rushed headlong into the ring and wont be the last, it makes for great TV and I hope there will be more hype now for the open weight GP

Shogun was not trying to break his fall...when Mark was taking him down, Shogun tried to spin around 180 degrees and land in a push up positition so that he could stand right back up. So, Since he was going down fast and then add the fact that he was spinning....THIS is why he got the injury. If he would have landed in the same way (but not spinning) he would have been ok. It is besides the point, but I just wanted to point that out.

I think Shogun put his arm out to stop himself from falling all the way down and to get back to his feet ASAP cuz he realized he's gonna give up his back if he's all the way down. Shit happens.

No I am not sticking by Shogun in the saying he won the fight or anything he lost Coleman initiated a takedown and Shogun broke his arm. I should have been more specific when I pointed out Baroni took Silva down from behind then Coleman put his foot on silva's throat...cowardly. Also Ninja was concerned about his Brother and when Coleman throw the ref off his leg and advanced thats when Ninja stood up your sounding like he backed down no he was making sure Coleman wasn't going do something stupid. His NUMBER 1 concern was his brother not stepping to Coleman

Coleman has nothing to prove fight wise. He is only trying to prove to himself that being about 42 he can improve and be a top fighter again. It is a mental game for him. I like him but he is not a top 5 HW.

    He has already:

Been the open weight UFC tourney winner 2 times.
Been UFC heavyweight Champion 1 time.
Won the first ever Pride GP.

He really has nothing to prove. At various times he could successfully argue he was the best fighter on the planet. He is battling with his mortality and I hope he adjusts his thinking and gets into other areas of the sport gracefully, rather than going into a Dan Severn mentallity of fighting smaller and smaller shows until you are in your 60's. I think that's sad.

This is not fully up to date, but still good info:

Wow. really disapointed with Coleman.. I think he should be embarassed after that display. A real fighter would realize that was not a legitimate win. If it would have been so than I would not take offense to his celebrating and running his mouth. As far as Ninja being in the ring all i saw from him was concern that Mark was going to pound on his bro even after his tapping due to SELF INFLICTING injury!! I say Coleman should ease off the tren and come back to earth cause I see him getting hurt in the very near future. My2 cents
